I was born in Marineika, Zakynthos. As a kid I remember me playing with mud under the lemon trees trying to make small figures… When I finished high-school I went to Athens to study ceramics and painting for 5 years. I also studied painting and academic design with teachers Maria Roussea, Nikos Christoforakis and Tasos Rigas. Then I worked in ceramic studios in Athens to acquire experience and learn new techniques. In 1996 I came back to Zakynthos and opened my own pottery studio. Since 1996 I have been creating decorative and functional ceramics in my own workshop, where I also have a permanent exhibition of my works. I have participated personal and group exhibitions in Zakynthos and Athens. I have been involved in educational school programs – children’s workshops. I like to create ceramics in forms, colors and designs inspired from life and nature of Zakynthos.
