A few words about my studio...  

In my studio you can see the whole process of making ceramics : preparing of clay, pug-mill, hand-kneading, throwing the wheel, pressing clay with hands in handmade molds, first firing, painting, glazing and second firing.

Inside my studio 

To obtain the best results and keep good quality of my  products, everything is done by hands. I mainly use the wheel, while all molds are pressed by hand, in molds I make on my own, after I first make the original piece with clay. You can find more details on the process in other pages.

Pottery that is made at ADAMIEION Ceramic Art Studio is both for everyday use and for decoration. For dinnerware sets I use only non-toxic materials. The glazes are lead and barium free and safe for use as dinnerware and in dishwashers. The rest of the pottery is marked as decorative work and not meant for any kind of food preparation or service.

You will see a wide collection of old-traditional forms and also designs/modern creations inspired from Zakynthos life and nature.

Outside, front garden

I tried to maintain traditional (Zakynthian) colors, architecture and style while building my studio as it is situated among olive and wine grows. Roof, doors and windows are made of wood, while I choose ochre (light yellow) for the outside color of the building.
