A few words about my studio...

My name is Dionysia Avouri and I would like to welcome you to ADAMIEION Ceramic Art Studio, and our Web site!

Adamieion is a pottery studio and craft gallery located in Marineika, Zakynthos, Greece, where you may see the whole process of making ceramics and also find fine pottery for purchase.

Marineika is a small village, 3 miles north from Zakynthos town and 25-30 minutes walk from the beautiful beach of Tsilivi. Planos-Tsilivi is one of the most popular tourist resorts of Zakynthos island.

I was born in Marineika, and, after finished high-school, I moved to Athens to study Ceramic Art and Painting for 5 years. At the same time I worked at ceramic workshops and pottery studios in Athens to acquire experience and learn techniques of ceramic art.

When I finished my studies I returned back to Zakynthos where I opened my Studio and Exhibition in September 1996.

During year 2001 I expand the Exhibition which now includes a new session on first floor which is open to visitors all year round and in this way it is easier for you to see my creations.
